About ACT Test Preparation
We teach ACT test prep to high-school students, helping them achieve success by offering high-quality classes and tutoring sessions that focus on reviewing core subjects, learning test-taking strategies and solving real ACT practice questions.
Our expertise and experience enable students to overcome test-taking anxiety, sharpen skills and reach their potential to obtain higher test scores for college admission and scholarships.
The prep course was first offered in Medina County in 2005 and later expanded to provide classes at eight different locations throughout Northeast Ohio, including Lorain, Portage and Cuyahoga counties.
We are a small, local business and give students and parents our personal attention.
Laura Icardi is a 1988 Graduate of Baldwin Wallace College. She is the founder of ACT Test Preparation as well as an instructor. She also has taught exam prep for The University of Akron since 2004.
Don Flegal graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1966 and received his master's degree From Walsh University in 1993. He retired from Parma City Schools in 1999 and has been teaching for ACT Test Preparation since 2010
Dianna Amoline graduated from Hiram College in 1990 with a bachelor's degree in education. She joined ACT Test Preparation in 2012.
Kim Gladden, M.D., is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with a specialty certification in Sports Medicine. She has taught varying levels from high school students to medical residents and fellows. She joined ACT test preparation in 2019 with a special interest in teaching reading, English, and science.
